A hands-on praktikum on creating professional presentations with sli.dev and Claude. From idea to finished slides in one session. Free.

- Type: page

## What the praktikum is

A free, hands-on online session on building presentations that hold an audience — using the **sli.dev** framework together with an AI agent. From an idea to a polished deck in one 60-minute sitting, with live coding rather than theory slides.

It ran once, on **5 April 2026, 16:00 CET**, in Russian, and that session has finished. Registration is closed; the page now collects interest for a repeat and for an English edition. There is no recording of the session, but the presentation slides can be viewed from the page.

## Why sli.dev plus an AI agent

- **Minutes, not hours** — the agent generates structure, content and styling quickly, so a deck is ready in minutes.
- **Polished look** — themes, animations and layouts come built in; clean and modern out of the box.
- **The AI does the heavy lifting** — structure, content and design are produced by the agent; you steer the process.
- **Completely free** — no hidden costs, subscriptions or upsells.

## Program

1. **Meet sli.dev** — framework overview, what it can do and why it suits working with AI.
2. **AI agent workflow** — how to prompt an AI for presentations: structure, content generation, iteration patterns.
3. **Building your first deck** — hands-on, from idea to a finished slide deck with an AI agent.
4. **Design & animation** — professional styling with AI help: themes, transitions, visual effects.
5. **Share & present** — export to PDF, deploy as a website, prepare for the talk.

## What you need

Three tools, all with free tiers, and the patterns are model-agnostic:

- **An AI text agent** for the presentation structure, slide content and speaker notes — Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or any other LLM.
- **An AI image agent** for illustrations, diagrams and visuals — ChatGPT, Gemini, Midjourney or any other image model.
- **sli.dev** — a free, open-source presentation framework that turns Markdown into interactive slides with animations, code blocks and Vue components.

## Facts worth quoting

- **Programming experience:** minimal. If you know Markdown you will be fine; the AI agent handles the rest.
- **Which AI:** any — the patterns are universal and the prompts work with any LLM.
- **Price:** genuinely free. No hidden payments, subscriptions or upsells.
- Skills used: Markdown, Vue, CSS.
