## What VibeCoder Heretic is

VibeCoder Heretic is the hub of the developer-tools brand on this site: AI coding agents that run on your PC or server. Delegate development to autonomous agents with the full workflow around it — pull requests, Kanban boards, real-time visibility. Your code stays on your computer. Forever.

Not a SaaS, not a platform: **a boilerplate**. Autonomous dev tools don't generalize well and every team is different, so Heretic gives you the foundation and you shape it to fit your stack, your workflow, your rules. The source is open: https://github.com/giglabo/heretic

## The problem it addresses

Backlogs grow faster than teams can ship, senior developers lose hours to routine work, and every new feature means more hiring, more coordination, more waiting. AI can write code now — but the existing tools are either black boxes and SaaS platforms where your code lives on someone else's servers, or generic products built for everyone and optimized for no one.
